Lamkin Grips
Golf’s original grip manufacturer was established in 1925 when company founder, Elver Lamkin Grips, began crafting premium leather grips in the garage of his suburban Chicago home.In the 1960’s, under the direction of Elver’s son Robert Lamkin, the company began manufacturing leather and, eventually, rubber grips to provide golfers with a more affordable and consistent-feeling golf grip. Over the next three decades, Lamkin continued to be an industry pioneer with new material, manufacturing and texture innovations that provided players with a functional performance advantage.Bob Lamkin, Elver’s grandson, has continued the extraordinary legacy that began nearly a century ago with a vast, worldwide expansion that includes customers and factories in every corner of the world.
